Hardly any mechanical load has a truly static effect. As a rule, there is also a dynamic component that can lead to vibration. If the excitation frequency matches the natural frequency of the construction, resonance effects occur that can result in mechanical failure. With a dynamic or vibration analysis, possible harmonic effects are investigated and dangers eliminated. The simulation uses the same model as in the classical strength analysis, so that the costs for this are relatively low.
Dynamic analyses, from modal analysis to response analyses in the time and frequency domain are required, especially when it comes to evaluating the operational or fatigue strength of a structure.
Determination of stresses and deformations due to vibrations
Spectral analyses - simulation of a vibrating table set
Dynamic response analysis in time and frequency domain
Simulation of the fatigue strength (service life analyses)
Verification of the structure under transport and earthquake loads
Definition of the required damping characteristics
Stiffness optimisation to avoid resonance effects
Damage analysis to find the cause
