As a computational services company, we have been using 'Finite Element Method' (FEM) and 'Computational Fluid Dynamics' (CFD) analyses as a numerical simulation tool for over 30 years in order to better predict, evaluate and optimise the structural behaviour of components with regard to their mechanics, thermics or flow.

Through the aerospace industry in the 1960s and the automotive industry in the 1980s, FEM was also able to establish itself in the rail vehicle industry, mechanical engineering and plant construction with the arrival of powerful and affordable hardware at the beginning of the 1990s.
